API (Application Programming Interface) is a set of protocols, routines, and tools for building software and applications. It specifies how different software components should interact with each other. APIs enable developers to access certain features or data from an application or platform.
JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a lightweight data format used to exchange data between web browsers and servers. It is easy for humans to read and write, and for machines to parse and generate. JSON is a text format that is completely language independent but uses conventions familiar to programmers of the C family of languages, including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and many others. JSON data is represented as a collection of key-value pairs, with the key being a string and the value being a primitive data type or an array or an object.
