Lecture 150:- Iterating Over Objects

In JavaScript, we can iterate over the properties of an object using a for...in loop.

Here is an example:

javascriptCopy code

let person = {  name: 'John',  age: 30,  occupation: 'Web Developer' }; for (let property in person) {  console.log(property + ': ' + person[property]); }

In this example, we have an object called person with three properties: name, age, and occupation. We use a for...in loop to iterate over the properties of the object and log them to the console.

The for...in loop iterates over the properties of an object in an arbitrary order. If you need to iterate over the properties of an object in a specific order, you can use an array to store the keys and iterate over the array:

javascriptCopy code

let person = {  name: 'John',  age: 30,  occupation: 'Web Developer' }; let keys = Object.keys(person); for (let i = 0; i < keys.length; i++) {  console.log(keys[i] + ': ' + person[keys[i]]); }

In this example, we use the Object.keys() method to get an array of the keys of the person object. We then iterate over the array using a for loop and log the keys and their corresponding values to the console.
