Lecture 151:- Nested Objects

Nested objects refer to objects that are stored as properties within another object. This means that an object can have a property that has its value as another object, which can also have its own properties and values.

Here is an example of a nested object in JavaScript:

cssCopy code

const student = {  name: "John",  age: 25,  address: {    street: "123 Main Street",    city: "New York",    state: "NY",    zip: "10001"  } };

In this example, the student object has three properties: name, age, and address. The address property itself is an object that has four properties: street, city, state, and zip.

To access a property of a nested object, you can use dot notation to traverse through the levels of the object. For example, to access the city property of the address object in the student object, you would use the following code:

arduinoCopy code

console.log(student.address.city); // "New York"

You can also use square bracket notation to access properties of nested objects. For example:

arduinoCopy code

console.log(student["address"]["city"]); // "New York"

Overall, nested objects are useful when you want to group related data together and keep it organized.
