  1. Install Node.js on your computer if you haven't already. You can download the installer from the official Node.js website: https://nodejs.org/
  2. Open a text editor of your choice and create a new file.
  3. Type the following code into the file:

javascriptCopy code

console.log("Hello, Node.js!");

  1. Save the file with a .js extension, for example hello.js.
  2. Open a terminal or command prompt and navigate to the directory where you saved the file.
  3. Type node hello.js and press enter. This will run the program and output the message "Hello, Node.js!" in the terminal.

Congratulations, you have written and run your first Node.js program!
