Lecture 22:- Text Formatting Tags

Text formatting tags are HTML tags used to control the appearance of text on a web page. Some common text formatting tags include:

<strong> for bold text
<em> for emphasized (italic) text
<u> for underlined text
<mark> for marked text
<small> for small text
<sub> for subscript text
<sup> for superscript text
<del> for deleted text
<ins> for inserted text

It's important to note that HTML is meant for structure, not for presentation, and formatting tags are being phased out in favor of CSS, which provides more precise control over the appearance of text.
