Lecture 368:- Creating Credentials on Google

To create credentials on Google, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Google Cloud Console (https://console.cloud.google.com/).
  2. Click the project drop-down and select or create the project for which you want to add credentials.
  3. From the Navigation menu, click on APIs & Services > Credentials.
  4. Click the Create Credentials button and select OAuth client ID.
  5. Select Web application as the application type.
  6. In the Authorized redirect URIs section, add the redirect URI for your app's authentication callback. For example, http://localhost:3000/auth/google/callback.
  7. Click the Create button.
  8. On the next screen, you will see your client ID and client secret. You will need these values to authenticate your app with Google.

Note: Make sure you keep your client secret safe and never share it with anyone.
