Lecture 312:- SCSS or SASS
SCSS (Sassy CSS) is a preprocessor scripting language that is used to make CSS more maintainable, extendable and structured. It is a superset of CSS and allows you to write CSS code in a more organized and efficient way.
SCSS provides additional features such as variables, nested rules, mixins, inheritance, and other functionalities that are not available in regular CSS. It helps to avoid repetitive code, reduce file size and save time in maintaining CSS code.
SCSS code is compiled into CSS code before it is rendered by the browser. The compiled CSS code can be used in HTML files just like regular CSS. To use SCSS in a project, you need to compile the SCSS code into CSS code using a compiler or build tool. Some popular tools for compiling SCSS are Sass, Gulp, Grunt, and Webpack.
