Lecture 82:- Desktop First vs Mobile First

"Desktop first" and "mobile first" are two approaches to designing a responsive website.

In the "desktop first" approach, the default styles for the website are designed for large screen sizes, such as those found on desktops and laptops. Media queries are then used to adjust the styles for smaller screen sizes, such as those found on tablets and smartphones.

In the "mobile first" approach, the default styles for the website are designed for small screen sizes, such as those found on smartphones. Media queries are then used to add styles for larger screen sizes, such as those found on tablets and desktops.

The choice between a "desktop first" and a "mobile first" approach depends on the specific requirements of your website. A "mobile first" approach is generally recommended for most projects, as it puts the priority on the mobile experience and ensures that the site is optimized for the smallest screens first. However, there may be some cases where a "desktop first" approach is more appropriate, such as for sites with complex layouts or a large amount of content that is more suited to larger screens.

Regardless of the approach, it's important to test the site on a variety of devices and screen sizes to ensure that the design is responsive and provides an optimal experience for all visitors.
